The GLCFI Teen Ministry strives to inspire young adults in their walk with God. The ministry supports the teens in cultivating their own convictions and relationship with Jesus. Our young people are encouraged to seek their own faith rather than blindly following what they are told by their peers.

There are many opportunities for teens to come together and get to know one another better.

The teens are supported by the student and young singles group, TIMOTHY GENERATION. We organise monthly devotionals, fun events, and deeper personal Bible studies for those interested.

What Is The Teen Ministry?

In the essence of 1 Timothy 4.12, the Teen Ministry aims to help young people to focus on following Jesus and to be unhindered by age, as they live as an example of Jesus to those around them. All of our members that are helping and mentoring any or our young teens have up to date PVG checks. And are happy to support our teens through Bible studies whether the person is just starting off on their spiritual journeys or if the person is just simply curious as to what Christianity can offer.

Through studying the Bible with someone, teens can learn more deeply about God’s character, Jesus’ life on earth, and what the Bible says about how to live as Christian. The studies are also useful for showing teens how to read and discern for themselves what the Bible teaches, which allows for the teen to build their own relationship with Jesus.

Studying the Bible can be an amazing way for teens to learn how to have meaningful friendships with their school friends. This is also a great opportunity for teens to spend time with young Christians living their life according to the Bible and to be mentored by those who have struggled with similar things to themselves.
